Are you looking for a part-time teaching role with a flexible schedule? Firefly English Discovery Center is hiring teachers who want to work part-time with adaptable hours, perfect for balancing other commitments.
+ Who We Are
Firefly English Discovery Center offers story- and activity-based lessons that create immersive, interactive learning experiences for children. Our teachers enjoy working with a variety of student age groups and lesson formats, gaining valuable teaching experience in a supportive environment.
+ Position Details
Schedule: Multiple shifts available. You can take all of them or just some that suit you.
- Tuesday 1: 9:30-12:30/14:00 (optional time if you would like another class 3/4 lessons)
- Tuesday 2: 13:00/15:30-18:00 (optional time if you would like another class 3/4 lessons)
- Tuesday 3: 09:30-18:00 (All shifts 6-8 lessons)
Extra hours are available on-site and off-site (details available upon request).
Please be sure to write in your reply what shifts you would like to do.
+ Pay
¥2,500 per lesson (Pay-Per-Lesson or per hour, based on experience).
Transportation paid in addition.
+ Location
This position is in Hotarugaike, close to Hotarugaike Hankyu station/monorail.
Other locations include Senrioka, Minoh, Awaji, Sumiyoshi, Toyonaka, and Takatsuki — all easily accessible from Umeda.

Previous teaching experience is a bonus but not required — full training provided.
You must already be in Japan with a valid visa
Applications are accepted only from candidates currently living in Kansai or looking to relocate before the start date.
