Part-time housekeeper position in central Kyoto (near Tambaguchi, Kitaoji, and Shijo station) is currently available to an individual that can work with us until January 1st, 2020 or longer. The position is available to start once you complete the interview process. Since this is a part-time position, visa sponsorship is not available and you should have a valid visa that allows you to work in Japan. Japanese language ability is not necessary but being able to speak either English, or Chinese would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate, is an individual that is independent, responsible, organised, friendly, enjoy cleaning, have an eye for detail, and able to work with others as a team.
Work related responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
Vacuuming and mopping
Washing dishes and laundry (towels and bedding covers)
Cleaning bathroom and disposal of garbage
Checking-in and checking-out customers
Problem solving and improving customer experience
Work hours are generally between 11:00AM - 5:00 PM but flexible and can be discussed at the interview. Working days will be 1-3 times per week, depending on schedule. Before starting, there will be 3 days of paid training and each training period will last about 3-5 hours. Compensation will start at ￥1,000円 / hour and after 3 months of working with us, there could be an increase to ￥1,200円 / hour depending on performance. Transportation to and from work will be covered up to ￥1,000円 per day. After 6 months of employment, potential for a permanent part-time or permanent full-time position could be possible.
